Discussion, “The Fun Team” Chapter 13 in KS-Z Discuss the case from your group’s theoretical perspective. What is the problem? How has it developed? What issues need to be addressed to resolve it? Discuss potential solutions to the problem, drawing primarily on your theoretical perspective. What needs to be done to improve teamwork in the Internet Group? Discuss the appropriateness of your theoretical perspective for this case. What does it help you see (or not see)? Focus specifically on the efforts Chris took to improve teamwork. What did he do? Were these efforts effective or not? Is it worth him fighting Ed and/or Alex for the changes he has instituted? How should he deal with the upset and angry members of his team?

Focused question: How can the directors of the program instill the importance of the “soft skills” to both program participants and advisers? Why are such “soft skills” necessary? Why are they not widely accepted?
