1. Arlington Park Arlington Park is an improperly maintained and operated sewage treatment lagoon. There are approximately 30+ families using this lagoon for their domestic waste.

2. Arlington Park Proposed work will include removal of vegetation in and around the lagoon, fencing the area in, building an access road, and possible establishment of a wetland cell at the discharge pipe to prevent solids impacting the nearby stream. Additional work will include a pipe survey, unclogging the discharge pipe, and possible installation of some further treatment method for the discharge water.

3. Built ~30 years ago as a “Biological Settling Lagoon”, the system was in poor repair. Steps for improvement included: 1) Construction of an access road 2) Lowering water level to evaluate piping problems 3) Clearing vegetation from berm and area 4) Opening inlet and outfall pipe systems 5) Installing fence around area and vegetating disturbed areas.
