Charles Demuth 1883-1935 Grew up in Pennsylvania
Had Art training at a University and started to travel to learn about art. He was well liked by the New York Art world. His style developed into Cubist-Realist American Artist

Cubist –Realist: A Cubist arranges their artwork using geometric shapes (Circles, squares, triangles, ect) in various colors and textures. A Realist painted art that looked like it would really appear. He combined these two styles.

Pointillism Painted in small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image Post-Impressionism Real life subject matter, vivid color and thick brush strokes. Cubist Realism Sharply defined geometric shapes, a movement that started in the 1920’s
