3 Common Terms in Word Processing and Office Applicants Block A selected section of text that is treated as a unit Clipboard A holding area or buffer for copied or cut data for later use Font A descriptive look or shape, size, style, and weight of a group of characters or symbols

4 Common Terms in Word Processing and Office Applications Footer An information area that is placed consistently at the bottom of each page of a document Format The process of editing the appearance of a document by using: Indentations Margins Tabs, Justification Pagination
