4. Demonstrate: Planning An Exciting Middle  Add a problem?  Include a threat?  Introduce an accident or a deliberate act?  Does something go wrong?  Does a new person arrive and create a problem?

5. Remember to make it exciting and use descriptive words.  Try to write the middle part of your story. Think of how to plan this part in two paragraphs.  Will you use different time / new action / new place / new person talking?

6. Consolidation Discuss your work with a partner. Have you included an exciting event? Which type of event have you included? Have you organised your writing in paragraphs? Have you used descriptive words? What could you do to improve your work?
