Recycling Water We are using way too much water and eventually, we will run out Reclamation- The ability to recycle water With reclamation, you can take used water, and clean it, and then use it for purposes other than drinking, such as watering plants.

Transporting water through California Aqueduct- A system of pipes that carries water to places that do not have much rainfall The Los Angeles aqueduct has been transporting water for about 100 years since it was built Many Californians rely on aqueducts for clean water Right: The Los Angeles Dam

What is the Water Cycle There are 4 main parts to the water cycle: Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation, and Runoff Evaporation- Is the changing of the liquid water to water vapor Condensation- After evaporation, condensation comes in and forms clouds, as the water vapor condenses Precipitation- Can come in many forms such as snow, hail, and rain. Precipitation is anything that forms in, and falls from the sky. Runoff- Is when the precipitation flows into the ocean, or a lake, or river
