Nouns name people, places and things. Every noun is either a common or proper noun. A proper noun: - will name a specific (usually one-of-a-kind) item - will begin with a capital letter no matter where it occurs in a sentence

If a proper noun, go to the P and move. If a common noun, go the the C and stand still.

-Read the sentence and when you have a common noun go to C and stay still - If you have a proper noun, go to P and move.
