Proof of Concept done! Very promising tool for LZ surface screening: Competitive with XIA ultralo-1800 (1 mHz of Po-210 per square meter) while providing more flexibility and no significant consumables needed (argon) Inner copper cage will improve sensitivity Can go underground at SURF and will get an active plastic scintillator veto to tag cosmics Can go into radon mitigated clean room at SDSM&T Thanks to State of South Dakota and SDSM&T for Start-Up Funds! 22-Apr-2015J.
