6 OVERALL WEIGHTED VALUE SCORES If a title’s value is above the median for all journals in its subject category, it will be assigned a positive score If no data is available for a title, a zero score will be assigned What is the highest possible score for journals with no Impact Factor and no SNIP? Subjects where 70% or more journals have no IF and no SNIP are “normalized” Explanations: A Value Score is assigned to each journal: Highest score: 7 Lowest score: 0 Total Score: 0---7 Lowest: 0---1.5 Low: 2---3 Medium: 3.5---5 High: 5.5---7
