Because the word, “de” has several meanings it is important to know that some defenitions include: from, by, and of. Translations: At what time does the class of Spanish begin? At what time does the class (taught) by Mrs. Montee begin?

4. Mi clase de ______ empieza a las + time  Here you insert the class subject AND add the time.  Ejemplo: Mi clase de Español empieza a las ocho y media de la mañana.  You can also insert the period you have that class AND add the time.  Ejemplo: Mi clase de la tercera hora empieza a la una y diez de la tarde.

5. Intentalo tú  Traduce:  My science class begins at ten in the morning.  My fourth period class begins at one fourty five in the afternoon.

Terminar  Same goes for writing about when the class ends.  Traduce:  At what time does your Spanish class end?  My Spanish class ends at ten in the morning.  At what time does your class with Señorita Jurado end?  My class with Señorita Jurado ends at three fifteen in the afternoon.  At what time does your fifth period end?  My fifth period class ends at ten in the morning.

7. Use the chart you created about your Schedule and your Spanish vocabulary to answer the following questions:  ¿A que hora empieza tu primera hora?  ¿Qué materia es la de tu segunda hora?  ¿Cuál es tu materia favorita?  ¿A que hora empieza tu materia favorita?  ¿A que hora empieza el almuerzo?  ¿A que hora empieza la clase de Español?  ¿A que hora termina la clase de Señorita Jurado?

8. Tarea  Use the chart you created of your HORARIO.  Make one question asking about when it begins/ends.  Then answer that question.  YES, IN SPANISH.  You have 8 clases (not including homeroom) so you should have 8 questions and 8 answers. A total of 16 sentences.  Lunch and extra curricular activities are for bonus points.
