get into flexible learning flexiblelearning.net.au The 2008 – 2011 Framework strategy aims to Build on what has been achieved to date EMBED e-learning in workplaces and VET practice Design and implement SOLUTIONS to address specific needs Build and extend PARTNERSHIPS between RTOs and the community/businesses/industry Develop CHOICE and personalisation for ALL learners Extend and ENRICH current practice Promote better USE of, and ACCESS to, e-learning products and resources

get into flexible learning flexiblelearning.net.au The Framework supports e-learning development through : Grants to registered training organisations for the development of e- learning solutions to empower learners or to address workforce development needs through partnerships with business Grants to industry bodies for the development of long-term plans to include e-learning in overall industry-led workforce development The development and management of e-learning resources and services E-learning information, research, knowledge sharing and networking opportunities The development and implementation of e-standards to underpin e- learning infrastructure

get into flexible learning flexiblelearning.net.au In response to context and specific need, e-learning could include: web, CD-ROM or computer-based learning resources for use in the classroom, workplace or home the online access of course material and participation in course activities via Learning Management Systems or other online platforms mobile and voice technologies for learning and assessment purposes the use of digital images and multimedia within course provision the use of social software and social networking sites to enable collaboration, connections and interaction
