Conducting the interview TO CONDUCT AN INTERVIEW ADEQUATELY YOU MUST ASK YOURSELF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: What objective do I want to achieve? What arguments can I use to reach this objective? Who am I speaking to? What difficulties could there be?

The Arc of distortion In a communication process, what is communicated is not always what is received. The gap between these two elements constitutes the arc of distortion.

Factors that contribute to distortion: limited vocabulary incorrect use of words excess of communication hyper- or hypo-stimulation of emotions speaking without thinking using mixed verbal and non-verbal signals inefficient feedback forgetting who you are talking to The arc of distortion
