Introduction The Liverpool Media Wall is the largest commercial digital screen in Europe It is located in Liverpool, the European Capital of Culture and the 8 th largest city in the UK (population 440,000) It is situated directly outside Liverpool’s Lime St. Station, a key terminus for a large volume of commuters, tourists and shoppers

Provision of Content The technology on the screen is such that whatever is displayed on a computer screen can be displayed on the graphic display Clients can provide Videos/Movies, poster or press artwork and flash/web animation ---------------------------------------------------------- Bold and Basic colours work best on LED screens No gradients Large and readable fonts

5. Content – Technical side The display resolution is 1536 x 336 pixels Any video material/movie files can be accepted at a frame rate between 24-60 (60 is preferred) in the following formats: - Avi, mpeg2 and flash files (swf). N.B. Quicktime files are unable to be used. Picture formats can be accepted as.JPG and.GIF formats

6. Frequency The most effective use of the media wall has been seen to work along the following mechanism: – Slots are sold on the media wall in 10 second slots – These slots are within a 1 minute loop – The slots will be sold across a two week period On a bespoke basis time scales can always be considered – day-parts Total ownership of the screen is also possible
