2 Motivation: Motivation is a force that energizes, directs, and sustains behavior( steers and porter, 1991). Project Team: project team is a group of people working together across geographical and organizational boundaries to achieve a common goal, Jarvenpaa and Leidner (1998).Rad Levin (2003).

3 INTODUCTION  Research Objectives diverse project team motivation that is requires for the good performances. the project manager responsibility in motivation of project team.  Research questions How project manager motivate the diverse project team members? Has the performance of the motivated project team increased as a result of project manager’s motivation to the project team?  Scope of study  the building construction, to investigate motivation of the project team.  Significance of study  Companies’ project team motivation for the good performances, can improve works.

4 LITERATURE REVIEW  Theory of Maslow which is need hierarchy theory from the Human basic needs to more complex, higher-order needs (Maslow, 1965, 1970).  Social motivation in influence of project team performance(Deborah, 2008).  The leader sometime needs power and affiliation to motivate the workers, (McClelland 1975).  A leader responsible to influence the team to performance good, Harrison (1998), Locander (2005), Tobias (2004).  Theory of motivation can be improving work motivation (Miner, 1983).

5 METHODOLOGY  sampling  respondents are 10 project managers and 90 project teams from the building constructions. Total is 100 respondents.  non- probability sampling.  closed-Questionnaire survey ( quantitative method) 9 project team members from 10 companies.  Structured Interview (qualitative method) one project manager from each of companies is selected.  Analysis  Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS ).  Nvivo.

6 CONCLUSION  project managers are responsible for the motivation of project teams.  As conclusion, the project team must have motivation for the good performances.  motivation is important in organization for good performances of project teams. thanks for your attention….
