Belly Dancing Belly dancing is a dance used in western countries and it is a traditional dance. It was made in the 19 th century. Belly dance takes different forms in different regions, both in costume and dance style, and new styles have evolved in the West as its popularity has spread globally. It is a very good workout and a very fun thing to do and it is also very hard to learn not something U will learn over night. Belly dance is a non-impact, weight-bearing exercise and is for all ages, and is a good exercise for the prevention of osteoporosis in older people. It improves flexibility of the torso. Dancing with the veil can help build strength in the upper-body, arm and shoulders.
