Base Ten Blocks Hundred Thousand Ten One
3
Base Ten Blocks 10 ones = 1 ten 10 tens = 1 hundred
4
Base Ten Blocks 10 hundreds = 1 thousand
5
This is the number 57 Tens Ones
6
This is the number 1,325 HundredsThousands Tens Ones
7
Base Ten Blocks Show Addition + = 23 + 31 = 54
8
Base Ten Blocks Show Addition + = 49 + 33 = 7 tens 12 ones We can’t have 12 ones in the ones place.
9
Base Ten Blocks Show Addition + = 49 + 33 = 82 We can take 10 ones and make them into one ten.
10
In Math We Show This As: 49 + 33 82 9 + 3 = 12, but we can’t have more than 9 in the ones place So, we regroup. We take 10 ones and make one ten and carry that ten to the tens place.
