Saturn Saturn is 95 times as big as Earth. From Saturn, the sun appears 1 per cent as bright as from Earth.

Saturn’s rings There are 9 rings around Saturn. They are made up of ice, rock and dust. There are 62 moons which orbit Saturn.

Saturn’s density Saturn is the only planet whose density is less than water. If you could find an ocean big enough Saturn would float.

What does Saturn mean? Saturn is named after the Roman god of agriculture. The picture used to show Saturn is an agricultural tool called a sickle.

Saturn in the solar system Saturn is the 6 th planet from the Sun and the second largest in the solar system.
