How to Price Your Classes For Profit

Goal is to profit $5 per person Exceptions – Product Based Class (Sales for Quarterly Minimum or Title) – Intro Class

Know how much your class costs! Download the Excel Spreadsheet available on Demo Website: Home > My Business > My Business Resources > *Cost Calculator Download the Project Planner available on Demo Website: Home > Training > Print Lab (under “Workshops & Events”) Take into account intangibles (coffee, snacks, grid sheets, etc.)

Group Like Items Pick one consumable embellishment for a quarter and use different parts of it each month. For example, buttons or DSP. When buying stamp sets, use 2 per quarter and use the heck out of them!Consider networking with other demo’s and create a “stamp library” Look at how you cut your cardstock. If using DSP, try to do a cut like 2x4 instead of 2-1/4” x 4-1/4”. You’ll save a ton of money in the long run! Plan your classes in advance!

Change Your Mindset If you really want to be profitable focus on selling product, not teaching you make money when you create the desire to own a stamp set; rarely can that be said for a technique.
