A narrative is a story or account of events or experiences.

A ballad is a popular kind of narrative poem, adapted for recitation or singing; usually a sentimental or romantic poem in short stanzas. It contains refrain (a phrase or verse recurring at intervals in a song or poem, especially at the end of each stanza; chorus).phraseversesong It contains repetition (repeating something).
