8. Scatter plots can show: No correlation There is no relationship between x and y. Example: The number of hot dogs eaten in a week is not related to the amount of rainfall.

9. Line of best fit Shows the trend of the data Can be used to interpolate (find a new point within the data) or extrapolate (find a new point outside the data) Has a specific mathematical formula but roughly the middle of the plotted points Does not have to include 0 May ignore outliers
