2. 2 FY 2011 Medicaid Budget Actions Budget of $6.2B approved including: Additional $389 M in enhanced federal funding for last half of the year $20M budget reduction due to enactment of Maryland False Claims Act Nursing Home assessment increased to 4% Assessments will fund reimbursements to NF and support a 2% increase A portion will be used for an incentive program

3. 3 Budget Narrative Reports Required Report detailing estimated savings and program impact of limiting services, implementing copays and premiums. Report due November 15, 2010. Independent report detailing how DHMH and DHR can maximize savings from minimizing claims processing and eligibility payment errors. Report due December 1, 2010. DHMH and DoIT submission of a report detailing the level of involvement in the MMIS replacement project. Report due July 1, 2010.
