2 Five Interconnected Foci: 1.Content-Focused, Master of Natural Science (MNS) degree program for middle school STEM teachers – Collaborative degree program between Math, Physics, Engineering, Sustainability, Biology, and Education 2.Middle School STEM Summer College-for-Kids – Math, Physics, Biology, Sustainability, Engineering Departments, Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts 3.STEMnet – a professional development network of STEM secondary educators – All STEM centers and departments, Arizona Sci-Tech Festival, AMTA 4.Ask-a-Scientist – an expansion of the popular Ask-a-Biologist web presence – All STEM centers and departments 5.Middle School STEM endorsement to Arizona state teacher certification – Department of Education, Board of Education
