Outward – “Proclaiming the Lord’s Death” – 1 Corinthians 11:26
Forward – “till He comes” – 1 Corinthians 11:26
Upward – Hebrews 11:6

9. The Lord’s Supper Was Never Intended to Forgive Sins
It is a Memorial, and does not facilitate the forgiveness of sins.
We DO sin when we fail to observe it, or fail to observe it properly. 1 Corinthians 11:27,29
