Aims Consideration of how the increasing prevalence of some modifiable cardiovascular risk factors in the Scottish population may affect future incidence and prevalence of TIA, stroke and vascular dementia in Scotland. Consideration of gaps in national vascular health policy and strategy. Potential solutions.

2.Setting up of Vascular Health Alliance in Scotland To lobby and support delivery, evaluation and review of the above. Partnership of all sectors.
