SIMPLIFIED ENGAGEMENT We have to make it easy and simple for one to become a member and be active in KLIK-CDYAP. Let us not complicate our processes in running the organization while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in the conduct of our activities.
7
PROJECTS (noun) WITH IMPACT PROJECT (verb) WITH IMPACT We have to understand as well that most of our youth are either in school or working thus their time is limited. Because of this, we have to ensure that our projects do not take much of one member or officer’s time while ensuring that while we may launch only a few projects, we are able to create an impact through these few projects and the projection of these events to the media has an impact to our brand of youth engagement.
8
REVENUE GENERATING Our projects must be geared towards generating and raising operational funds to finance more projects Our projects must be geared towards generating and raising operational funds to finance more projects. HOW TO KLIK!
15
Citizen Journalism/CyberRallies: POWER TO THE PEOPLE Capitalizing on Cellphone and Internet Technology to report irregularities and organize rallies through social media sites. Fed to media as part of mainstream news
16
Indie Sine: PROVOCATIVE AND EMPOWERING Artists have used the medium of film making to raise the socio-political consciousness and awareness of people on many societal issues using experimental yet dynamic approaches
17
Street Theater (Flash Mob): THE NEW BEAT OF PUBLIC RALLIES The use of street theater in the form of dancing in a crowd can be used in advocacy raising, against traditional approaches done during street rallies. Here, advocates are able to use music to draw crowds and popularize steps that coincide with their message
18
Payment of Membership (Anti Patronage) It is important that dues are collected because it is a people’s association, owned and controlled by its members and not by a single patron. Membership dues are allocated for -Base Sectors’ Activities (60%) -Projects of the National Organization (40%)
