2. WHAT ARE THE 6 ELEMENTS THAT MAKE UP MOST OF THE MASS OF LIVING ORGANISMS ON EARTH? HOW DOES THE HUMAN BODY USE THOSE ELEMENTS? THE 6 ELEMENTS THAT MAKE UP MOST OF EARTH IS :  HYDROGEN  CARBON  NITROGEN  OXYGEN  PHOSPHORUS  SULFUR

3. WHAT ARE 3 MAJOR MOLECULES THAT MAKE UP ORGANISMS & CONTROL CHEMICAL REACTIONS IN THE ORGANISM? IN WHAT TYPE OF FOODS CAN WE FIND IN THE 3 MAJOR MOLECULES? DESCRIBE WHY EACH ONE IS IMPORTANT FOR LIFE. GIVE EXAMPLES OF EACH  Water, Carbohydrates, & Fats  You can find water in soda, you can find common table sugar, & fat in ice cream  Without water..plants will die, with out Carbohydrates we would not have energies, & fat is used to store energy.

4. WHAT ARE PROTEINS? WHY DO WE NEED PROTEINS?  Proteins make living systems, We need proteins to primarily cuz without proteins we will die cuz proteins make up many things like skin, eyes, clothes, etc…

5. WHAT ARE ENZYMES? HOW DO CELLS KNOW WHICH PROTEINS & COMPOUNDS TO MAKE?  Enzymes are protein & control reaction in the cell, they also help digestion. Cells know which proteins & compounds to make because of nucliec acids. Nucliec acids have two trypes, dna & rna. These are broken dwn to to smaller systems which hep cells know which compounds & proteins to make.

6. WHAT IS METABOLISM? DESCRIBE 2 CHEMICAL PROCESSES CORRESPONDING TO METABOLISM?  Metabolism is the chemical processes that occur within a living organism in order to maintain life. Anabolism and Catabolism are chemical processes that correspond to metabolism. Anabolism uses stored energy to build larger molecules. Catabolism degrades larger molecules to produce raw material s.

7. WHAT IS MALNUTRITION? HOW DOES MALNUTRITION SUPPORT THE FACT THAT THE HUMAN BODY NEEDS CERTAIN NUTRIENTS FROM FOOD?  Malnutrition is the lack of proper nutrition. Malnutrition shows that the body needs all proper nutrition to function right. It shows that the nutrition from foods is very important to have to live & stay healthy.
