4. Resources People tend to gather and live in areas that have the resources they need. –Water –Food –Fuel –Good land –Transport e.g rivers, canals, sea

5. Italy Has more resources in the North than in the South and so is more densley populated in the north.

6. Terrain This means landscape. People don’t like places that are too high, too dry, too wet, too rugged.

7. Brazil The Amazon Basin in Brazil is sparsely populated. It is called the green hell due to the terrain, climate and dense rainforests.
