Has God revealed His will or not? Paul says it has been revealed (Eph. 3:1-7) He says it is understandable (Eph. 5:17) What are we able to know? The truth (Jn. 8:32) To be sure (2 Peter 1:10) That we have eternal life (1 Jn. 5:13) Contrast these things with doubt or uncertainty We Can Know Certain Things

Is there a difference? Unfortunately, many see these as one and the same They are not Confidence is based on truth and trust Arrogance is based on self-worth, ego, and assumption The source of our confidence In God (1 Jn. 3:21) Not in ourselves Confidence Without Arrogance

Explained as: The full assurance of faith (Heb. 10:19-23) The full assurance of hope (Heb. 6:11) The full assurance of understanding (Col. 2:1-2) The assurance of obedience (1 Jn. 2:3-5) Consider Paul He had confidence (2 Tim. 4:6-8) Available for others Confidence does not leave any room for doubt (1 Cor. 15:58)

Do you believe… That Jesus has brought redemption and forgiveness (Eph. 1:7)? That we have all we need (2 Peter 1:3)? These words about salvation: Saved from sins (Mk. 16:16)? Saved eternally (1 Peter 1:9)? That God will reward (Heb. 11:6)? That God will do all He has said (2 Tim. 1:12)? Do You Have Confidence?
