Each year the FDOT updates its Five-Year Work Program and requests that Alachua County submit transportation project priorities for consideration as part of that update process.

MULTI-MODAL FISCAL YEAR 2015 – 2019 Project Location and Description 1. Melrose – Sidewalk on north side of State Road 26 connecting the existing sidewalk to Santa Fe Park 2. Unincorporated – Waldo Road Trail Extension from NE 47 th Avenue to Waldo City Park (NE 147 th Avenue) 3. High Springs – Rail-Trail from downtown High Springs south to NW 142 nd Ave and West to the Santa Fe River, and multi-use trail on the north side of NW 182 nd Avenue from the abandoned rail corridor to Poe Springs Park
