You should use the temporary agenda calendar for all of your classes until you get your agenda.  Please get out a notebook that you will designate to use ONLY for science!  Please copy the 8 th grade schedule onto the back of YOUR class schedule so you know where you are going today!

16  Test a different variable at home.  You don’t have to write this report up, you can create a video using your phone. (Think Food Network cooking show, but more SCIENCEY!)  You must discuss the following in your presentation: ◦ Describe the variable (independent variable) you are changing ◦ Explain what you think will happen AND WHY. ◦ Discuss your procedure, make sure your video is showing the experiment ◦ Discuss your results…if your hypothesis wasn’t correct, why do you think that is? ◦ Bring your results and let me see it!

17  Food coloring goes back in the box and back up to the front counter  Q-tips go in the garbage  Pans need to be rinsed thoroughly  Soap can be reused  Set the pan with the cup of soap in it on the front counter where you got them from  Replace the Q-tips
