America By Andres

Hi, my name is Andres and I am glad to live in America. I am like to live in America because of the freedom, schools, and holidays.

I’m so glad to live in the freedom of the United States of America. Some countries are not free and they get punished or hung if they do not do something or kill someone. Some countries also go without food because their leader goes out and gets materials to build nuclear weapons and bombs. So that means to them, no food. America is so free, we have the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. We also get food.

America has great schools and I go to Waters Elementary. You do not have to wake up at 5:00am and walk 3 hours to school. You go to school five days a weeks and 7 hours a day- Monday- Friday. The best part is Saturday and Sunday. These two days are weekends and we get almost three months off for summer.

Another reason I am glad to live in the United States is because of the great holidays. Great holidays are Christmas, 4 th of July, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. I like Christmas because you spend time with your family, open presents and watch football. I also like the 4 th of July because my parents take me to a parade and it is so fun. Then, we go to a festival and it is fun, also. We go to a park and listen to music and watch the fireworks. These are some of my favorite holidays.

Now, these are the reasons why I am glad to live in the United States. The freedom, schools and holidays make me love the USA.
