4. POPULATION MAP Shows number of people living in an area Can show characteristics/types of people

5. HISTORICAL MAP Depicts events on a map Ex. Spread of Christianity, Pacific Battles of WWII; Early Human Migration; Viking Settlement

6. SPECIALTY MAPS Geological maps Topographical maps- shows elevation above sea level

7. OTHER SPECIALTY MAPS Product maps
