Where we visited 1 ) Eagles Palace, Ouranoupolis 2) Ikos Olivia, Sithonia 3) Ikos Oceania, Kassandra 4) Sani beach Resort Sani beach hotel Sani village Sani club Sani Asterias Halkidiki Education 12-16 th Oct 15 Amy Hawkins, Leanne Hall, James Dobbe, Sarah Banham.

Eagles Palace Eagles Palace, Ouranoupolis This resort felt more traditionally Greek than the others we saw, its situated on a sandy beach against a back drop of rolling hills and trees. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival we jumped aboard a speed boat and jetted around the island of Amouliani where we also enjoyed a swim in the crystal clear ocean. We then headed back to the hotel we enjoyed some delicious traditional Greek cuisine and enjoyed the beautiful views over the beach. Highly recommend upgrading to a sea view as these views are just stunning!! You must try the monastery wine made exclusively for the hotel. Not forgetting their steak that just melts in your mouth! Top tips

Ikos Olivia The Ikos Olivia is a very modern hotel right on the beach but has a lovely village feel to it with long connective pathways surrounded by lush greenery. There is a supermarketand a few gift shops around the resort. Considering this resort is a new build, it feels as though it has been established there for much longer! It is a 5* Gold but has a very relaxed atmosphere. All rooms are very spacious, decorated in neutral colours with modern furnishings that feel clean and fresh, they also come with Nespresso machines. The food and drink provided was really enjoyable and the pinacolada from the pool was just AWESOME!!

Ikos Oceana The Ikos Oceana is another lovely resort and you can see where the Ikos Olivia’s inspiration has come from, however the this hotel does intend to update certain areas that they feel are becoming a little dated. The Ikos Oceana has great facilities and wonderful kids club, including a wacky warehouse and ball pit. This hotel ideally would suit those that want all inclusive luxury but on a tighter budget. The infity pool that looks out across out to sea is just stunning!! There is a Fantastic local market just 15 minutes on foot full of local cuisine, herbs, clothes, jewellery etc

Sani Resort Sani hotel: This hotel gives you direct access to their gorgeous white sandy beach and positioned right next to sani hill where you can enjoy breath taking views across the bay. Babe watch service is available on the blue flag awarded beach. Rooms are large, spacious and stylishly designed with all modern comforts. Sani Asterias Suites These suites are very exclusive and ultimate in luxury. They are positioned right opposite the Marina where guests can enjoy wonderful views from the restaurant, pool and their rooms. Some suites also have direct access onto the white sandy beach.

Sani village Exactly as it says, the building are no more than 2 stories high and designed as a small village with winding paths and lush vegetation. The village is in a great location being most central to the whole resort and has a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. Sani Club This was my favourite out of the Sani resorts, this for me felt the most Grecian in design and setting. Its set on a hillside so almost all rooms can enjoy stunning sea views. For me the best restaurant we went to in Sani was the Ouzerie found in Sani beach Club. This is a wonderful traditional Greek Tavern that offers spectacular views whilst you relax and enjoy exquisite wine and the tastiest of Greek cuisine.

Most memorable experience Halkidiki The most memorable experience was the beach party held on Bousoulas beach every Wednesday.. Such a fantastic atmosphere..! Great music, dancing, cocktails, was so much fun!! If you enjoy all of the above then you must go!! Another memorable experience was the sun set cruise we went on that Sani offers to all their guests free of charge, including a complimentary glass of bubbles (and very nice bubbles they were!). Stunning sunset and we saw Dolphins !!!!

Favourite hotel and why Our favourite hotel would be the Ikos Olivia. The reason for this is that the resort felt, new, fresh, stylish and sophisticated and suitable for all types of guests.. Families, couples, friends etc. It was luxurious without being stuffy and because it is spread over such a large area, it never felt full or over crowded. We also loved the infinite lifestyle. A lot of people can be put off by All inclusive resorts because the food is often disappointing, however this is far from disappointing. So many restaurants to choose from and every single one of them have been awarded with a Michelin star! Even the buffet restaurant supplies a huge array of attractive good quality food.. Suitable for everyone’s taste and desire.

Top Travel Tips for Customers Eagles Palace – recommend booking a sea view room for the stunning views. Also guests should try wine made at the local monastery which is made exclusively for the hotel Ikos Olivia – fine dining at Anaya restaurant, which serves a la carte Asian cuisine Ikos Oceania – a trip to the local market, which is a 15 minute walk away where guests can purchase local cuisine, clothes and jewellery Sani resort – a traditional Greek salad should be sampled at Ouzerie restaurant, located at the Sani Beach Club The sunset cruise is a must for guests staying at the Sani resort and is complimentary
