About Me Licensed since 1980 ARRL Affiliated Club Coordinator since 2014 Contester Have operated portable in the PA QSO Party in most of the last 29 years. Usually activate a State Park for OSPOTA Sometimes I bring a friend

Centennial QSO Party (2014) Commemorated the 100 th anniversary of the ARRL Ran during the entire year – W1AW/P – W100AW – League members, Staffers, & Field Organization Members

Centennial QSO Party (2014) Almost 200,000 unique callsigns were located in the logs of W1AW/P 3800 People qualified for the W1AW/P WAS 36,067 unique callsigns were on the Leader Board 16,500 people qualified for the basic QSO Points challenge award at 1000 pts.

Goals of NPOTA a)Promote the capabilities of Amateur Radio to the general public through operations at eligible NPS Administrative Units. b)Promote the NPS Centennial and the heritage of the National Park System through Amateur Radio c)Encourage portable Amateur Radio operation from as many of the officially-listed National Park Service administrative units and recognized Affiliated Areas as possible.

LOTW You must be a user of Logbook of the World in order to record activation and chaser QSO’s T-QSL must be updated if you are already a LOTW user Chaser QSO’s are uploaded like all other QSO’s Activators upload NPS Unit contacts in groups and chaser points are awarded if QSO callsign and times match
