15 The church is committed to being open to those who wish to worship with us, especially in times of personal troubles. However, concerns have been raised with regard to your contact with minors and/or disabled adults in our congregation. Whether or not these concerns are valid or accurate, at minimum, they present a challenge for the church in creating a welcoming and safe environment for the families of children and youth. Therefore, the following guidelines are designed to reduce the risk to both you and minors of an incident or accusation. We welcome you to our congregation and our membership, however, your participation will be limited in order to safeguard minors and to protect you from becoming the subject of accusations. Within these guidelines, the church welcomes your participation in the church.
