7 U.S. Department of Agriculture eGovernment Program 7 Unobligated Balances Update OCIO, OBPA, OCFO, and ASA worked together to request unobligated discretionary and mandatory funds.  This includes funding for several initiatives including the Enablers, Web- Based Supply Chain, and a Presidential Initiative fund. The request was forwarded to OMB, where it has received preliminary approval. USDA executives also met with House and Senate appropriations staff and received positive feedback on the request. The unobligated balances team is now working to determine the final amount of unobligated balances and adjust the request accordingly. Once this is complete, the request will be sent to the House and Senate Agriculture appropriations subcommittees for final approval.
