2 Aims Understand why we are blogging and the impact it has on learning Understand the E safety procedures and safeguards we have in place Be able to explore the blog and assist your child with their blogging

8 E-Safety Individual log in and passwords-  Track each individual user  Track comments and usage of individual users ALL posts must be approved by Mrs Winter +Class teacher-  EVERY post, from other staff, children or parents MUST be approved by the class teacher or myself before it appears online  We can filter posts – and check for spam posts  We can track users trying to post inappropriate comments or negative comments and block access  We can view IP addresses to trace users who may be trying to use our blog inappropriately and contact the police.

15 How can we use our blog? The primary aims of the blog are-  To extend and challenge pupils learning  Provide an interactive learning platform  An extension of classroom and school learning
