2. Houses and flats In Llerena people live in small white houses Because of the law they can‘t colour them with any colour except white Each member of the family usually has their own room Spain is a hot country so they try to keep cold inside the houses We felt very comfortable in their homes

4. The family members The family consists of parents and from 1 to 3 children They spend lots of time together Their relationships are very close and friendly Parents take care of their children and do the most of the housework

6. Food We had the opportunity to try various traditional dishes like tortilla, gazpacho or paella They have lunch at home and sometimes they go to restaurants Spanish cuisine contains more fish than the Slovak one

7. Hospitality We like the way they behaved towards us and also each other They are very open, friendly, easy-going and talkative Although some parents couldn‘t speak English they looked for the way how to talk to us (e.g. Google translator, gestures,...)

9. Free-time They spend their free time with the family and friends They like being together, going to discos or trips and having fun In contrast with the Slovaks they don‘t hurry so much and they always find time for their friends
