3  Have you ever noticed how easy it is to do a push-up to lift yourself up and out of a swimming pool?

4  It’s much easier than doing push-ups on land. That’s because the water is exerting an upward force on you.  We can explain with Archimedes’ principle.

6  DENSITY is the MASS of an object divided by its VOLUME. The formula is:  DENSITY = WEIGHT / VOLUME.

8  Each group find an example which substance can swim on the water?  For example, oil and water.
