4.  Over 200 course selections for students  Leveled classes 1 – 4  Competency based  Weighted GPA for class rank  SPED and ELL  Demographics

5.  Classes are aligned w/ NH Frameworks standards  The knowledge we want the students to know! What is essential learning.  Similar outcomes for similar classes – depth and scope may differ in levels but not the competencies  Using rubrics to indicate acceptable performance  ‘engaging scenarios’ = practical application of learning

6. The GPS method…  Measuring student progress in a common method to insure equality in the grading process.  Formative assessment – acquiring knowledge  Summative assessments – measuring knowledge  The ‘re-do’ or ‘second chance’ assessment process
