No collaboration with classmates or colleagues. Your topic should be some aspect of emerging telecommunications technology, applications, or research Writing a 2-page term paper is harder than writing a 5-page term paper

Term Paper Tips: Don’t wait until the last minute to write your term paper…you will almost surely do poorly on what represents 33% of the raw score that will be used to calculate your grade You are expected to do research (reading) to support your term paper; and you must provide a list of references that you have thoroughly read and thought about (not included in the 2-page limit)

This is optional Consider writing your paper without worrying about the page limit; and then extracting the most important messages to include in the 2-page version Microsoft Word, font size 12, single spaced, 1” margins. Get help, if needed, on grammar! Check your spelling.

Term Paper Tips: Contents: -What is the opportunity or problem that this term paper is focused on? -What is the current practice (I.e., how is this opportunity or problem addressed with current products, services, technologies…) -What new ideas, technologies, and/or services are being pursued by engineers and scientists to address this opportunity or problem?
