Concert/Final Exam Participation in the dance concert is mandatory. The concert will count as part of the final exam grade in this course. Not participating in the dance concert will significantly lower your grade. A PRE-APPROVED WRITTEN EXCUSE is the only exception. Written excuses must be presented at least two weeks (10 school days) prior to the dance concert, and the student must complete an alternative exam. Even in situations of last minute, extreme emergencies, students are still required to complete an alternative (plan B) form of assessment. If a student is physically unable to dance, that student is required to attend the concert and assist in any way and complete another exam.
