How did The Red Spot appear ? a giant storm that is known to have existed since at least the 17th century when it was first seen by telescope. Surrounding the planet is a faint.telescope The Storm Appeared about between 300 and 250 years ago.

What are the gasses on Jupiter ? Jupiter's Gasses are mainly helium and Hydrogen. Jupiter has no surface its all clouds. Every day of Jupiter At Least Has between 70-50 Storms a day!

How Big is Jupiter ? Jupiter has an equatorial diameter of 141,700 km compared to Earth's 12,800 km. This means that Jupiter is 11 times the diameter of the Earth, and 1,300 times its volume. This is about like comparing a basketball to a ping pong ball. Compared to the Sun, Jupiter is about 0.001 its mass, and is about 1/50 its diameter. If the Sun were a basketball, Jupiter would be about the size of a pea.
