The Yalta ConferenceThe Yalta Conference For fully understanding the Cold War, it is essential to understand the impact that the Yalta Conference had upon the post-WWII world. To grasp the significance of the meeting between the three great leaders, Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin, we need to know what each country stood for and what lengths they were willing to go to see their goals accomplished.

Country Bio:Country Bio: Each group will create a 6-10 slide presentation that covers the following topics regarding their country Involvement in WWI Reason for entering WWII Any major events that affect the country during WWII State of the military just prior to the Yalta Conference (including victories/defeats, troop strength/status, outlook of future victories) Treatment of citizens in occupied territories A brief history of the leader of the country
