OBJECTIVE: To preserve an important symbol of BC’s maritime heritage To pay tribute to the vital contribution of, and to celebrate the founders of the BC Coastal Towing industry

Objectives: Master To properly repair/refit the Master in order to celebrate her Centennial in 2022 Master To ensure that the Master will endure for at least another generation

Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada will provide a bronze plaque commemorating this history and referencing in particular the SS Master. “Tugboating along the West Coast ” has been designated (late 2014)as an Event of National Historic Significance

Our goal is to raise $1 Million to restore and preserve the vessel The committed support of the towing industry is critical to the success of this project Strong industry backing will leverage support from municipal and provincial entities, and the general public
