An organism that has adapted to living in very high temperatures (heat), such as bacteria or algae
Thermophiles are organisms that survive in hot, humid places such as this image of bacteria.

A container that is used to keep things warm, such as your soup; a double-walled container that keeps things warm
Vince uses a thermos to keep his hot chocolate warm when he goes sledding.

11. thermostat (noun) A device used to control the temperature
