1. Examples of speedy recall facts for year 2 Please note medium frequency words will not be “tested” in a traditional 10 words a week spelling list style. As part of guided reading carousels children will sometimes have spelling and grammar activities. These words will feature in dictation tasks and RWI style “Spell It” tasks. Maths facts WILL be tested in a timed format similar to the featured tests. Children will self mark and record their score so that they can “Beat That!” in a competition against their own personal best.
