3 Overview SWOT Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. Meeting divides into four equal groups to brainstorm and write down ideas on one of the SWOTs. Discussion areas: Library Skills, Services, Products and Changes in the Environment (both internal and external).

5 WEAKNESSES What services or products do students or staff need to go elsewhere for, what have we missed?

6 OPPORTUNITIES What new trends or issues can we tap to develop the library’s support and growth? Are there any services not yet being offered that are worthy of investigation?

7 THREATS What factors might threaten the library’s ability to deliver the best services in the best way?
