Objectives Ensuring a good knowledge base for all actors What are main knowledge gaps? How do we organise the knowledge base so as to get the right information to the right place at the right time? Adaptation and mainstreaming Are policies and instruments adequate to deal with adaptation or are changes necessary? How best to empower all levels of government, including local authorities, that are necessary for effective adaptation on the ground? Economics and resources Adaptation has financial consequences at public and private level, how can we handle these now and in future?
