2. SINGLE PARENTING Single Parenting is when one parent doesn’t live with a spouse who has the legal guardianship of the child or children who are the primary caregiver of the child. Single Parenting can be headed by either the mother, father, or grandparents. The mother of the child is usually the primary caregiver in the sense that fathers are less commonly involved in their child's life. Single Parenting can very stressful for the parent alone and the child because they have more day-to-day responsibilities since it's not split in half with the other parent. Also, for the child, they're going to worry about who they are going to spend the holidays with.

3. CAUSES OF SINGLE PARENTING The causes of single parenting resulted are due to unintended pregnancy, single parent adoption, divorce, having the choice of having a child or not, death of a spouse, never being married, or separation. A single parent dealing with responsibilities can cause health problems because of stress. Due to stress, the single parent may feel guilt on themselves while the children is also affected.

4. THE SOLUTION A Single Parent must provide and greater support for the child when feeling very stressful. Ways a single parent can deal with their stress: -Relying on friends for support -Taking some time off for yourself -Getting help with finances -Keeping a time track of a daily routine -Spending quality time with the family -Talk about what they're feeling -Finding child care
